Greatschools.org rates Gilbert’s schools on average at a 9 or 10. Gilbert Classical Academy High School has been awarded a 10, as well as its junior high partner, Gilbert Classical Academy Junior. Based on Arizona’s state academic testing, Gilbert Classical Academy High School ranked at 100% in standards for math, reading, and writing.

    As of August 2013, Gilbert’s unemployment rate is relatively low in comparison to the national average — with Gilbert’s average being only 5.9% while the national average hovers around 7.2%. The average income here is around $50,000-$75,000. The Banner MD Cancer Center opened in the fall of 2012 and created hundreds of jobs for the medical profession and continues to hold a running list of openings for doctors, nurses, administration, and medical support staff. With a recently passed five year plan to improve the public schools, more jobs will be added to the growing school districts.
